It's been a whole week since the BAA's 2016 came to an end!
I was lucky enough to help out at the ceremony again, and each time I attend the BAA's I'm reminded why I love animation, being surrounded by all those wonderful people who just want to create are exactly why I love the animation community.
We congratulated a whole bunch of UCA graduates on their nominations and wins that evening and it's so inspiring to see them, one can only dream of their own name being called...
I digress, the point of my first blog post is not to daydream about winning my own BAA but to thank the producers of these events. My first blog post is an appreciation post to all the Festival organisers, Awards Producers and so on, the producers and managing directors and teams of people who get these events up and running are the unsung heroes of the industry. From events as big as the BAFTA's to the Daffy Duck Awards my University Class hold in (somewhat) jest.
It takes a special kind of person to keep these events so amazing, and a special thanks is in order.
